I’ve missed a few of my ABC Blogging Challenge posts. Maybe I’ll go back and add them. When I don’t have to go to the library to get internet! Moving stinks. And although I love living in the country there are a few drawbacks and getting high speed internet installed is definitely one of them. ugh.
Anyway. Most of my Blogging Through the Alphabet posts have been centered around homeschooling. However, with all that has gone on in my life lately, I would like to change this week’s focus. I want to focus on the goodness of God. No matter what all has happened recently, I will only focus on the good. I will not be discouraged but will know that all things work together for the good and He has it all under control. I do not have to understand it. I just have to trust Him.
Here’s to Goodness:
And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
2 Samuel 7:28
And now, O Lord God, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
[Oh] how great [is] thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.[a]
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts!
We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
I hope these verses have blessed you today. Come back to join me for more Blogging through the Alphabet.
