This past week has been a real challenge. I fell off the wagon. HARD.
I had pretty much been staying on plan until the weekend. And then not only did I eat way off plan the entire weekend, but I also brought home leftovers so the bad eating continued. I did at least avoid soft drinks and continued to make some sippers. And I weighed in on Monday. And I had gained a little over 2 pounds. I’m sure most of that was water/bloating but then again I did have a lot of white flour/white sugar items that causes me to bloat. Anyway, Monday and Tuesday I was on plan except last night I did eat some french fries when we went out to Freddys. At least I did get the bunless burger. But they have those tempting shoestring fries and that wonderful dipping sauce….
I guess I really just need to stay home. At least until I get back in my groove and can avoid the temptations. It wouldn’t be so bad but when I get off plan, then I feel bad – headaches, nausea, gassy, etc. And I don’t always get right back up three hours later.
And I still haven’t incorporated any more exercise in my plan. But I have been very diligent trying to declutter my house and get it more organized so I am moving more. And I am getting more water in. I think. Some. It’s hard to drink water when it’s been so cold. I’ve mostly been drinking on-plan coffee and I love the Winter Wonderland sipper.
So, let’s get down to business…
After a weekend of fried chicken, biscuits, several doughnuts, pumpkin cake bar, sweet tea and more of what I can’t even remember….since my last Wednesday weight in….
I’m up .2 pounds.
I’ll take it. Sure it’s not a loss for the week but after three days of eating waaaayyy off plan, it’s only .2.
And I’m doing good so far today. And I realize that after having such a great week last week (losing 3.8!!), you would think that would have been enough motivation to stay on track. But life happened. I got stressed. Extremely stressed. And I ate. And ate. This morning’s breakfast was the Just Peachy muffins (p. 286 in the cookbook) and a 000 Vanilla Yogurt. And I’m starting off with water.
